Pros: Easy cartridge, a relatively small desktop footprint, an excellent device to computer interface
Disadvantages: Miscellaneous. Driver problems with Win2k, Win2k Parallel Cable USB problems (I had to go) and, especially, fax software excellent.
Another thing to note: Make sure you think about copying and scanning requirements before purchasing this or otherother units. The scanner scans a fax - its great, but you can not scan a book or magazine, without removing them. Machines, with a flat top for scanning books, are usually larger and more desk space, so a compromise.
My OfficeJet K60, the workhorse and I love it. I use it for my home office. It 's fast and reliable.
